External iSight camera interferes with iChat Screen Sharing
Some customers have found that an EXTERNAL iSight camera will interfere with iChat Screen Sharing. Usually the problem will occur as about 10 seconds of connectivity before it locks up. Currently the solution is to unplug the external iSight camera when using screen sharing.
